No problem with shorts in other BKK lounges. I’m currently sitting in TG’s BKK gate A1 lounge with Mrs PtF, looking resplendent in my shorts, white ankle socks and boat shoes.

Next month I am on a miles ticket ex BKK in F. As a QR Plat, does that mean I will be sent to the TG Royal Orchid lounge F section in the lounge on the right of the E pier? If so, I won’t be complaining as it is quiet with good service. Just seems illogical that QR will give access to their own lounge to a non-status pax on a cheapo R ticket in preference to a Plat in F.

If you are travelling on an award ticket (not upgrade) you will have access to the QR lounge.
