That's very unfortunate. The museum is enjoyable, but hardly worth that price.

Yes. It's a crazy idea. The revenue can hardly make a dent on the running costs, never mind the rest.

I took some friends there a couple of weeks back, and visitor numbers were very low. Nice for our visit, but for a stand out icon of Qatar, a beacon of culture, a bit of a failure.

Does anybody know if it is possible to check in a bag in Doha after doing a Discover Qatar stopover? Would like to buy some things but don’t want to hand carry them.

As a Bonvoy Ambassador, should I look at the Marriott properties at all? Any data points on receiving perks with status?

I got great upgrades at both W and StR. To whatever extent it's relevant, that was before Marriott was on scene.

Hi,

I am trying to book a hotel through +Qatar. 2 people on one booking. Upon trying to book I am being asked for the e-ticket number for both passengers. I have tried just putting in the same ticket number for both passengers but am getting a 'duplicate ticket number' error. Apologies if this has been covered before, but if I do put in the 2 separate ticket numbers, I am assuming we won't be able to take advantage of this on both the outbound and return?

Alternatively, is it fine just to book a hotel for 1 guest, and then turn up with 2 people?

If you are attempting to book two rooms, it may be asking for an eticket number for each room. However, if you plan to share a room, just use one eticket number and book the room for double occupancy.

Yes. This is how you can get the hotel stopover in both directions, outbound with one passenger and return with the other. You get a double or twin room.

Perfect, thanks for the reply. Much appreciated.

I'll book now just for 1 guest on the outbound, and then the other on the inbound.

You should be able to book one room for two people and then only need to enter one e-ticket number. That's how it has worked for me, anyway.

Booking one room for two people each direction allows you to use each person't e-ticket number in one of the directions.

Sure it is. I think maybe you are over-thinking things😁

it's a hotel reservation.

if you select two adults-guests you will need to provide 2 e-tickets numbers.... better select one guest, email the hotel afterwards and request double bed or twin beds

Probably was over-thinking, but would rather avoid problems on arrival.

As it happens, my return journey is actually valid for the free stopover packages as it is over the 12 hours and there was no earlier flight I could have taken.

On that note, the confirmation they sent me for this states that a meal voucher will be provided (Oryx Rotana). Any idea how much this will be for? Thanks for the help.
