if my return ticket from US to South east Asia on Economy is around $2000 and the upgrade price for one sector US-DOH is around $1200.. not sure if that a good deal? However during summer months that same sector on business class could be around $3/4k
tough decision (doesn’t matter if you have the money or not) lol

So when I checked in it once again prompted me to upgrade to biz on DOH- MLE segment. This is a 5 hour plane ride not too bad. and to me wasn’t worth it (2 am - 9 am flight time.) The upgrade price when checking gave me instead of $360 was now $420 USD! Then at the airport, I checked again and the price was $480 USD. I knew $360 was a good deal but didn’t think it was worth it. Least I snagged exit row for this flight. So warning!!!!! Once you get the email I’d go for it, if you really want to upgrade that segment.
