Qatar have confirmed the presence of a policy whereby if a customer booked a QSuites flight and subsequently gets an aircraft type swap can you request travel on an alternative flight, subject to availability, see post #2709 Previously this included change of routing, now it only includes changing the date on the same routing. QR issued tickets only!
Qatar Airways confirms new business class seatA video of the new Q Suite can be seen here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yhZDsctiZg

From TGFlyerGirl:
there are some quite complex rules entries around seat selection - but in essence, solo travellers as a guideline won't be assigned QUADS (they are blocked off), and it's generally for 3/4 pax families. Once a QUAD has been broken up (out of necessity - for example with a couple in the E/F seats), then the rest of the quad is unlocked and can be filled with individual travellers.
They've also made 1A/2B last offered to allow airport flexibility to handle last minute requests. The other 18 windows and aisles are free for reservation as per the normal process.
The bassinet position is 11B/J (77W) and 8B/J (A359), reduced mobility seats are 2/4/6/9 B and J.
All A/E/F/K's are backward facing, all B,D,G,J's are forward facing. Total 20 Forward/22 Backward.
Capacity:
77W: J42/Y312
High density 77W: J24/Y388
77L: J42/Y230
35K: J46/Y281
359: J36/Y247

plunet until 9 November both QR1/2 and QR7/8 are allocate Qsuites. 10-23 November QR1/2 has an A350 allocated. After that it appears that QR1/2 will have Qsuites again. QR7/8 retains Qsuites.

Near future? 0.00%
Sometime in the future? Certainly. Trouble is that I doubt that QR will be able to retrofit all airplanes within the next 14 months or so as they indicated initially. Retrofitting seems to advance very slowly (slower than I expected).

WorldLux retrofitting extended to ONE aircraft before it was stopped! So the only Qsuites aircraft otherwise available will be new deliveries of B77w and A35X. It is expected that the number could reach eight during the first quarter of 2018. But the delivery schedules may change.

tav1989 based on the fact that no aircraft, apart from the original A7-BED last May, have been taken out of service to undergo retrofitting I think it is safe to assume that retrofitting has been suspended. Probably until the current crisis is over.

I was lucky enough to try the Qsuite on QR2 (LHR-DOH) a few days ago and it was frankly amazing. I completely take back any reference I may have previously made to it looking like an upgraded version of the 8-across BA product - I couldn't have been more wrong
The Qsuites feel ridiculously spacious and even in a completely full cabin it was really private and quiet. I later travelled on the B787 and (although I still love the super diamond seats) the Qsuite is on a whole other level. The foot well is much larger as well in the Qsuites and I slept so well that the poor cabin crew member on my aisle had to practically shake me awake for landing!
Definitely a "First in Business" experience. Well done QR ^

Anyone know which flights DOH-LHR have the new QSuites (on the 777) ?
Still only the one plane ? (A7-BED) ?
Is it in anyway predictable which flight it will be used on ?
EDIT:
Sorry !!! It seems this is the latest know:

Sisyphus1carus there are three Qsuites fitted 777s and it is thought that a couple more are due to be dlivered shortly. To keep up with which aircraft have Qsuites do look at the Wiki on the QR dashboard widget complete-guide-qatar-airways-fleet

sam007 I have no idea how the dividers are on the Qsuites.
With regard to First class during the last month the two new deliveries have each had one rotation to Kuwait where the premium cabin is classed as F rather than the usual J.
There are no Qsuites on the A380s which have the only true first class cabins. It has been suggested that they may be retrofitted at a later date but there are no definite plans. So there are no double beds in F.
