Above, AirbusA350 mentioned that QR may be giving an invitation to the Swissport lounge in ORD. Anyone have experience if this is still the case? If so, with a connection in ORD prior to our ORD>DOH flight, would we need to recehck in at the QR checkin in T5 to get the invitation or could we go straight to the lounge?
Traveling this week. I have no intention of getting over to T5 any earlier than I have to from T3 BUT if the chceckin line at T5 for business was low, I might ask about lounge if I thought there was a chance. Those far end M gates are dead leading up to the flight
Any other new experience in ORD?

I know the bus is not operating... sill. (Anyone know why?) So that leaves the easy choice (FL) out of the possibilities.
Lounge... The last I heard was Swissport only at T5.
I don't have a lot of time - 2 hours to get from T3 to T5 - so probably more worried about making the connection vs. lounge, but, in case everything is on time/early and Pre-check security goes fast, would like to have a lounge to hang in.

We’re flying ATL-ORD-DOH-NBO New Year’s Eve. We have about 4 hours to spend in the Flagship Lounge and we don’t plan to check bags. So we’ll head to T5 about 45 minutes before boarding. We all have Clear and Precheck so I’m not too worried. Will skip whatever lounge delights T5 currently has. Will report back after.
You might want to rethink 45 minutes...
You have to get to the train - 5-10 minutes.
Wait for the train - 5 minutes.
Take the train - 10 minutes.
Get off train and walk to security - 5 minutes.
Clear security - 5 minutes if you are lucky.
You are now 15 minutes before departure and still need to walk to the gate. And if any of those things take more than the allotted time, you misconnect.
I am slightly worried about 2 hours from touchdown to takeoff.

I am ahead of you; x-mas week. I will report back.

Currently sat in the SIN QR Premium lounge and I can't say anything bad about it. We visited QF F briefly for something to eat (it's hard to turn down their Salt and Pepper Squid and Laksa), but it's practically a zoo by comparison to the QR lounge which is an oasis of calm.
I count at present 8 passengers total and easily that many staff members making sure everything is taken care of, but not in an overbearing way at all. I feel a little bad for some of the staff who are standing around not doing anything, though!
Would definitely recommend if you are on a Oneworld J/F ticket.

My award ticket class code is R and U on Qatar airline. I do not know whether I will have lounge access or not. If I do, which lounge I can have access at SFO and Doha .
I also have priority pass card, which lounge is best and close to departure gate for Qatar flight at SFO. Please advise and thank you.

We are flying ORD-DOH-CAI on QR, then CAI-LXR on MS. The QR flight arrives CAI at 22:55, the MS flight for LXR departs at 06:30 the next morning.
We have a room reserved at the Le Meridien but realistically we’d be looking at about 4 hours of “sleep” at best. So considering the idea of staying in the QR lounge in T2 at CAI until it makes sense to navigate over to T3 for the MS flight and then collapse into a heap upon arrival in LXR at 07:30.
A couple of questions: is it possible to enter the QR lounge in T2 upon arrival or is it for departures only? If we’re able to use the lounge, how much time should we leave to get airside in T3?
Many thanks in advance!

Qatar Airways Lounge BKK - WOW!
I just visited the Qatar Airways Lounge in Bangkok. I have probably been to 10 different lounges in Bangkok over the years. Besides the Thai Airways First Class Lounge, the Qatar Airways lounge is by far the best lounge I have been to. Dine on demand, full bar with bartender, good amount of space. Opulent. Extremely friendly service.

Is there access to any lounge for QR J passengers from Jakarta/CGK? I see on the OW website it has 4 lounges listed but none mention QR while the QR website doesn't list any...I find it odd other airlines like Qantas or JAL have access to certain lounges while QR doesn't seem to.
