QR-operated outstation lounges
The QR Bangkok (BKK) Premium Lounge: Opened in 2018. Discussed on FT here. Access is restricted to departing passengers ticketed in oneworld J or F. Access is not permitted if flying on a QR Business Lite (P) fare. No guests.
The QR Beirut Airport (BEY) Premium Lounge: Opened in 2018. Covered on the QR website here and discussed on FT here. Access is restricted to departing passengers ticketed in oneworld J or F. Access is not permitted if flying on a QR Business Lite (P) fare. No guests. [NOTE: rules were previously that only QR passengers, including those with status, could access the BEY Premium Lounge. However, status passengers may now be directed to the MEA Cedar Lounge.]
The QR London Heathrow (LHR) Premium Lounge: Opened in 2012 as the first QR Premium Lounge, located in Terminal 4. Covered on the QR website here and discussed on FT here. It's a whole 1st lounge. Not sure about opening hours, Will enquire.

Lounge Access at LAX
Hello, I was a bit shocked to see some Oneworld Airlines can access the Star Alliance Lounge at LAX. It looks like the Oneworld Lounge is still closed.
I only see BA on the list and top Oneworld Elites who can access the SA lounge. I'm a Oneworld Emerald member, but my partner's flight is on a separate reservation on QR in Business, not sure if he'd have access or if I can bring him in a guest.
Does QR have no other lounges to access at the TB Terminal? Or do you think both of us will be able to access the Star Alliance lounge?

I am at Ahlan First Class Lounge DXB right now. Very impressed! Great a la carte food, as well as buffet. Moet Chandon, as somebody mentioned. Great service. Sweets are very nice. Quite a relief after the not-so-great experience of check-in+immigration+security at DXB Terminal 1 (to put it mildly).
This is not AS DOH, but might well be the best outsourced outstation lounge I've ever been to.

What is the current lounge situation in ORD, I heard from QR that there are "no lounges due to construction" I know it is chicago but....
(Happy to use the BA lounge bt do not really want to wander over early given that sometime sthey pull capacity issues.....)

I've used the Turkish Airlines lounge on my PriorityPass and it's okay but nothing to write home about. It can get very busy.
