Did someone organize a lunch do off-airport? Please, please.
Yes there will be lunch away from the airport. I would prefer the Mill Hotel Bar and Restaurant in Spring Hill, for obvious reasons, but I think the majority want to go to Breakfast Creek.

By the way your status has not been changed to Gold.

Long as it's a good feed I'm not fussed about the venue.

Perhaps both the Mill and the BC can be enjoyed by those overnighting in BNE.

I no longer know anyone that works there, so -

but I think the majority want to go to Breakfast Creek.
Brekkie Creek for lunch sounds awesome - even if their vego selection is rubbish, they've definitely got a well-stocked bar

I guess it would be rude not to attend now I am living back in Aus and my parents are in BNE. I am exceedingly lazy - is there particular flights that Sydneysiders are getting up ?

I'm WP which may be helpful with lounge formalities.

Please change me to Gold for attendance, and WP for status. (At least, it should be by then.)

I was delaying my attendance until I had fully worked out what I wanted to do for the day, but given that $$$ is a bit of a premium at the moment I'm just going to do the pedestrian method of turning up to my hometown airport rather than fly around.

Which is just as well, since BNE-MEL(o/night)-AKL-BNE or BNE-SYD-ADL-BNE was looking rather harrowing.

Nah, just trying to squeeze it all in - works far better for both of us if I'm not around to offer advice or have an input - I'll return to a fait accompli ...

The more "stuff" in boxes littering the house, the less floor area you have to clean...

My chance to finally get to one of these meets has just evaporated. My return date from SGN has just been put back by 5 days, (yes boss, of COURSE I would like to spend another 5 days, including the weekend in Ho Chi Minh City. That would be lovely, thank you.)
Availability now a lowly Bronze.

Pre-existing confirmed travel arrangements should be OK to get a dispensation IIRC.
