All good. you know it's been years since I was able to come to one of these. Glad (and not surprised) there's a set process in place and it all makes sense rather than the old way it used to be done for the "unofficial" FT do's.

I still remember that one time, at the SYD QP........

You do realize this is a QF event, but in the true spirit of FT why wouldn't you take the bonus SCs on offer.

I better go round up itsalongwaydown for attendance.

Breaky Creek Hotel Lunch:

I will most probably forgo drinking at the BCH and hire a vehicle for the airport to BCH (return) trip. This is generally cheaper than sharing taxis.

Is there a thread for BCH yet?

Bookings are now open on the penegal express. Also if any locals are lunching please PM me to avoid last year's mix-up

penegal express bookings:
1A - SQ421
1B - penegal (driver)
----
2A - hvr
2B - Blocked Seat
2C - tuapekastar

Confirmed attendee here!

Brisbane local, QF SG (for another week or so after the AGM).

Hope QF WP can once again work his prime negotiation skills to get us in.

Have I known you that long, at least you got rid of the purple hair,

You know I could dig up a photo, but I won't.

I will need a lift back to the airport after lunch, but not before as I am arriving on Friday, should I ask for a lift from the serfty taxi service.

I doubt that will be a problem, generally, a Guest List is emailed to Qantas beforehand and they are well aware of our presence. Besides, between the QF WP/SG's flying that day, there should be ample guest spots available to make it work.

That's true, but the staff may all be new due to the change in management of the lounge. Also, we don't have the lovely KBR at the lounge any more.

The "cover plan" is possible.

Flights have now been booked. Getting a marginal ASA organized was surprisingly easy.

Arrival: QF520, 1130, SYD-BNE

Departure: VA1218 1400 (23/2) BNE-CBR
