Hoping UL agree to AUGH CMB DOH CGK on the way out. Thats an extra 140 points and no need for a hotel in Jakarta. I have a feeling they will prefer to have us on AUH DOH CGK which of course will be a loss of 80 points. I understand there may be an ORC route as change is within 14 days?

We are back to AUH for our flight to LHR on the 18th. Thats already been changed due to a cancellation. On the way home we are now CGK CMB DOH AUH. Extra 60 TP and I get to try Alsafwa

UL wont agree to that backtrack
There is a reference to the ORC thread in the sticky - it is always at BAs discretion

Depends on the time of day, and how many of you there are. Two options, both need a coach/bus on the Abu Dhabi end + metro on the Dubai end. The airport now runs their own service - https://www.zayedinternationalairpor...irport-shuttle , and then there's the Dubai E102 bus - https://www.rta.ae/wpsv5/links/buses...e/E102Both.pdf , both of which link the Dubai metro with AUH.
With one person I think the coach+metro option works out cheaper, especially if you already have a nol card for public transport in Dubai. Looks to be AED 25 for the bus, then about the same for metro + new nol card. You've got to wait for the next coach/bus, then change on the metro, then ride a lot of stops, so it'll be slower. 2 people I think the public transport option is slightly cheaper than the taxi but slower, 3 taxi should win

We will then chance our arm for BAs discretion with the loss of 80TP. But even if this is rejected, we are only 20 worse off due to getting the extra leg on the way home.
