Changes to website
TSA has now created "topics" for shoes, liquids, inconsistencies, and gripes/grins. However, they have not sorted and ported the original stream of comments into these categories, so they are still mostly empty.
It would be nice if some of the coherent logical statements, presumably submitted by FTers as the text looked awful familiar
, could be resubmitted so that they would end up near the top of the new threads and be more visible.

Let's start posting using names of people on the no-fly list: David Nelson, Edward Kennedy, etc.
"Osama" would be another suggestion for a nom de plume. :-)

My comment on "Wow! What a Response"
Well, what did you expesct my dear Kipiots, given that your agency treats me more poorly than even the East German Border Police did when ever I transited to and from West Berlin??
Let's see if it gets posted!

I just came across this comment for inconsistencies...I let out a little chuckle.

"Ever since you started x-raying our shoes, I've been forced to carry all my plastic explosives in my pants which I find most inconvenient."
I think the biggest gripe is the attitudes and abuse. Some lady at Houston threatened to kick us out because my boyfriend grabbed his boarding pass back "quickly" and she threw a fit. Started yelling "DO YOU WANT TO FLY TODAY". After an 11 hour flight, sick and still 4 hours to go...sometimes you zone out. The biggest complaint for me is the thievery by both TSA and baggage handlers....I can deal with everything else.

You're new here, so I hope the administration goes easy on you.
There are two major things to keep in mind about posting here:
1. Duplicate topics are almost always closed to keep discussion flowing in one thread. Generally, first thread opened gets to stay. Titles, if you think they are deficient, can be modified by the overworked and underappreciated moderators if you email them and put forth a cogent argument about how the title could be improved, and that takes us to the second major rule around here, and that is,
2. DON'T PUBLICLY COMPLAIN ABOUT MODERATION AROUND HERE!
Send the moderators an e-mail or private message about it - just don't dis them by complaining about their decisions in public. The former owner of the board (Randy Petersen) still seems to control a lot of things here and he really, really dislikes it when members start dissing moderation and moderators.
If you hang around here a while, you'll find that this is probably the least-moderated forum you'll find for complaining or complimenting the TSA. Seriously. Many frequent flyers are fed up with the garbage put forth by Skeletor and Kippy and their worthless predecessors, and the staff here permits us to complain about them almost as often as we want, as long as we abide by fairly simple rules when doing so.

That's one thankless job.

The early morning WNBC news had a segment on the TSA blog this a.m. and the anchors were all making fun of it, basically saying that no complaints voiced (or written) would ever be acted upon.
----
I just tried to post in a couple of areas of the blog and it would seem to be shut down as clicking on "post a comment" does not take one to a page to do so.
