No worries... I just posted it yesterday!

I'm thinking of putting together a Yakima valley wine tasting based out of Seattle. Ideally I'd like a driver to take me out of the city, tour the wineries, do tastings, buy some cases for shipping and be back in the city for dinner.

Is this possible? Any leads or suggestions?

Nah, it was Napa/Sonoma I might hold out some hope that the wine (other than the pinots) might be decent! :-p

Perhaps longer than a day trip but higher quality of wine, you could catch a Horizon flight out of SEA to Kenewick {PSC} and tour some of the wineries of Walla Walla ( Woodward Canyon, Lecole, Walla Walla Vinters), a few of my favorites.

Can't expect you to know this because OUM is in Chad, Africa but Walla Walla is 4.5 hours each way from Seattle. Just can't be done. Maybe you could hit Woodinville.

But cant we find decent wineries as far west as Yakima?

Although frankly taking the Red Hook tour in Woodinville five or six times in a row ain't such a bad idear either!

EVERYBODY now:

Very possible. I believe ldsant took a few people on a "day trip" to Yakima during one of the SeaDoo weekends.
