Vino Volo has a great chorizo and chick pea chili. And an amazing selection of wines.

They're not much in the way of food, but you should probably be eating light if you're flying, anyway.

Thanks for the input, everyone!

Had the salmon at Anthony's. Highly recommended!

Sharps Roasthouse for me every time!
Great Food and good selection of beers & Sprits & just down the road from SEATAC.
Husband loves the Prime Rib washed down with a mug of Mooses Drool.
We've booked to stay @ the BW down the road from there just so we can visit this restaurant during our stay!

Inside the airport: Anthony's or Vino Volo

Right outside the airport: Spencers or Sharp's Roasthouse.

Anthony's, hands down. To the point it's worth skipping the lounge. The seafood is great, and they have an excellent choice of microbrews on tap. Try the halibut!

Seattle: Going to Benaroya Hall...need restaurant suggestion.

Heading to the symphony next week. Tired of always doing Wild Ginger and the Met sounds like too heavy of a meal. ( I'd fall asleep during the concert)

Any suggestions for a dining place within walking distance of Benaroya? ( we are walking onto the Bainbridge ferry)

Thanks.

We've eaten at Puck's right in the Benaroya lobby, and found it quite good, and of course incredibly convenient. Haven't eaten at his (Wolfgang's) other place in the hall, Measure, but have heard okay things about it.

Depending on how much time you have, of course, all of the Pike market area is close by - Matt's, Le Pichet, Alibi Room, et al.

There is a ton of stuff. What time are you taking the ferry over? What kind of place are you thinking of going to--food wise ?--romantic ?

Could be anything....this is a date night with my spouse ( we have not been to the symphony in a decade). We love Wild Ginger but it just seems to be the place we eat at every time we go in.....

Looking to eat around 5:30.

My spouse doesn't like salmon if that helps.

Purple is our go-to place prior to Benaroya. I find it can get a little loud, but it has a nicely varied menu and good wine list. Reservations would be a good idea at that time.

There's always the Metropolitan Grill. It's pretty popular though. Although it is Monday.

Ugggh....I thought I posted a response on here...

Im thinking you do not want Asia/Thai or Seafood....

On my list was the Purple Cafe and The Brooklyn.

Tulio italian restaurant is another option... http://www.tulio.com/index.php

My personal favorite italian is www.assaggioseattle.com but its not near where you are going (still downtown)

there are a few Indian places near there....

Maharaja near the ferry/theater and Kastoori Grill near Pike Place
