It's my understanding that all 773s now have fully flat beds in business class, correct?
Does anyone happen to have a photo? (I only seem to be able to find photos of the old layout)
Thanks!

That's the layout on APX/APY. The seats are the same on ASK/ASL but the IFE screens are different.

Slim/it is highly uncertain. OSL was scheduled to have 787-9 from Dec but so far for most days 77L and 788 turn up.

The 787-9s are allegedly going to be deployed on the YYZ route this summer as they are able to operate nonstop ADD-YYZ both ways unlike the 787-8s. If that goes ahead, then CDG will almost certainly not be a 787-9.

Hi y'all, great thread.
I'm flying business class on ETH 501, but it appears they switch out the plane between the 777 and the 787-8. Can anyone tell me what type of seat they have on the 787-8 on that route? It appears the day I fly that will be the plane I'm on, even though United says I'll be on the 777.
I'm hoping the fact it is a 13 hour flight and DC has a strong Ethiopian presence makes them put the better product on that route.
Thanks,

My wife and I will be booking an award on these flights after you. Hopefully you can post your experiences. We'll still fly on ET as it has the best connections to LUN. Just interested in hearing your opinion.

Chicago will almost certainly be a 787-800, but will use the ET-AO*/AR*/AS* aircraft of which only ASG/H/I are configured with flat beds. The AO*/AR* aircraft have the 160-angled seats. Therefore the chances of getting flat beds on that route are 3/13 = 23% approx. The AT* aircraft with the flat bed seats won't be used to North America except as very rare substitutions to LAX.

You can assign the seats yourself in the website MANAGE MY BOOKING function. Quick and easy, and if you are * Gold it will also block the seat next to you.
