If you were flying AA internationally (ie. trans-Atlantic), you would have full lounge access at all points based on ticketed class of travel. But because you are flying BA, you only have OW status based access at IAD and LGA. Plus the rather poor YYZ lounge that BA operates (one of the worst BA lounges in North America) and the dismal food quality in pre-flight dining (hope you aren't booked on the later sleeper flights YYZ-LHR, which have little food onboard, relying on the PFD to feed you). Unfortunately BA service to YYZ is sub-standard, probably due to the low yield out of toronto (YVR-LHR is far nicer, by way of comparison).

Lounge Access by Class of Travel
Customers flying First or Business Class have access to the equivalent class of lounge regardless of their frequent flyer status. (First Class passengers may be accompanied by one guest travelling on a oneworld sold/operated flight).
Customers flying in Economy class on the domestic or intra-European segment to connect to or from a oneworld longhaul First or Business Class flight can also use the lounge applicable to the class in which they are travelling the longhaul segment.
Exception: American Airlines AAdvantage members, regardless of their tier status, may not use lounges when travelling on solely North American itineraries (defined as within or between the USA, Canada, Mexico [except Mexico City], the Bahamas, Bermuda and the Caribbean). In these cases, access rules are governed by American Airlines' own rules (ie paid lounge-access membership).

Okay, the rules say valid boarding pass (ticket) and/OR status card. I guess 'and' is used when one is on an economy ticket, but OR is used when you have business class or first class ticket.
Nonetheless, I just got promoted to OW Emerald, but as I am traveling around the world, I won't have my card. I guess OW airlines have an integrated system that my OW Emerald status is reflected in the system? No? (as *A seemed to have managed to get this done - without presenting my UA 1K card on OZ, I was given a bp with my UA MP number and *G designation). *A lounges generally ask for the card even though the bp has *G designation.
Does OW lounges do this as well? This is critical as I have Emerald status to access F lounges (particularly interested in accessing SYD, LHR, and HKG F lounges), but no card to prove my status. Perhaps I will have to stop-by at a LAN office (I have Emerald status through LA) and get a card... during my travels.

CX First Lounge access whilst flying J on F ticket
I need info whether I will have access to the Cathay First lounges at HKG whilst flying in J on a First OW RTW ticket.
I remember reading a thread a few years back on Flyertalk confirming this.
Is this still the same policy today.
Thanks

I have never been refused access to any OW Floung with the exception of the Concorde Club at T5 (where you can only get in when Flying F on BA).
I can use BA lounges all over the world even when flying non OW airlines.

In general, no, but you can try, especially if you are arriving on a CX F long haul and departing on a CX/KA J.

Now, I guess I could be considered very fortunate but I was also allowed into JL F lounge in NRT even when bp did not update my Emerald status (though my online profile with LAN said I was Emerald) on my BP without a card in hand. I was given a one-time exception when I showed the JL agents my online profile, which showed that I was OW Emerald.
