Okay, the rules say valid boarding pass (ticket) and/OR status card. I guess 'and' is used when one is on an economy ticket, but OR is used when you have business class or first class ticket.

Nonetheless, I just got promoted to OW Emerald, but as I am traveling around the world, I won't have my card. I guess OW airlines have an integrated system that my OW Emerald status is reflected in the system? No? (as *A seemed to have managed to get this done - without presenting my UA 1K card on OZ, I was given a bp with my UA MP number and *G designation). *A lounges generally ask for the card even though the bp has *G designation.

Does OW lounges do this as well? This is critical as I have Emerald status to access F lounges (particularly interested in accessing SYD, LHR, and HKG F lounges), but no card to prove my status. Perhaps I will have to stop-by at a LAN office (I have Emerald status through LA) and get a card... during my travels.
