You are ok for those lounges as long as CX and QF pick up your status in their system. If it is a BA lounge you would have to have a card - no exceptions.
Well, exception was made for me when I presented them with a boarding pass showing my OW Emerald status. I told them that I was newly minted Emerald and had not received my card as I was in the middle of my travels. The BA agents allowed me into their F lounge in LHR T5.
Now, I guess I could be considered very fortunate but I was also allowed into JL F lounge in NRT even when bp did not update my Emerald status (though my online profile with LAN said I was Emerald) on my BP without a card in hand. I was given a one-time exception when I showed the JL agents my online profile, which showed that I was OW Emerald.
