I'm pleased to see this thread is still going strong and GuyBetsy is still doing a great service to FTers (and also to animals).
I will be traveling to Australia soon and will be making a monetary donation as well as volunteering materials to my local Humane Society.

Thank you once again, Guy Betsey!
We donated to The Trevor Project the equivalent of a few ETA fees, plus a bit extra for good measure. It's terrific that these funds will now be used to save the lives of at-risk people, especially LGBTQ youth, in the spirit of Pay it Forward.

When Trump was elected, I made a vow to donate to organizations fighting his racist, bigoted regime. I donated $50 in December to an organization helping abortion providers, and $50 in January to the ACLU Foundation. I will donate another $50 to them this February as it is badly needed. Also, I plan on running the 2017 NYC marathon for Doctors without Borders and raising at least $4000 (but my goal is $6000.) I did it in 2015, and raised $4500 to help fight Ebola for Doctors Without borders.
Oops, I forgot. A) I am going to New Zealand, not Australia, and B, I don't have enough posts (although I lurk and read a ton!)

Many thanks Guy Betsy for your great support of the FT community!
Linda and I have recently contributed to both the Food Bank and City Harvest here in NYC, and continue to support their fine efforts.
Thanks again for your help.

Pay it Forward -- deed
I just donated 2 bags of children's clothing and 2 large boxes of bedding and other household goods to Vietnam Veterans of America.
Thank you Guy!
