you won't be able to get through the international airside unless you are transiting, otherwise you'll go straight thru customs and immigration.
the showers in the domestic airnz lounge are decent and usually available.
as for bag storage, there are storage lockers in either Domestic (the food court end) or International (Door 3) - https://www.aucklandairport.co.nz/in...ggage-services

Recent AKL Info?
We are travelling Delta LAX-AKL arriving 7:55 am 3/29/24 & need to book a separate flight to CHC. Does anyone have any advice or recent experience about length of time to allow before the onward flight? Thanks!

Many international arrivals early morning, so immigration, customs and bio-security can be slow. Or fast
To be very safe would allow 3:00hrs. You need to walk ~12minutes or take a free bus between terminals
Airlines AKL CHC are Air NZ & Jetstar.

Hi, I am flying out of AKL on QF (first time)! I just want to clarify accessing security please. Presumably up the stairs and then into the premium lanes? I am Gold, do I need an invitation from a QF counter/physical boarding pass please? Mind you flying JQ to connect so this might all be academic if not ontime😀. Thanks
