Just noticed that the Elite Extra Perks Sweepstakes (henceforth EEPS :D) is for "...legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States (including District of Columbia) and Alaska... Void in Hawaii and where prohibited." :mad: Oh well, at least I'm not barred from the overall promotion.

Wow this is definitely advantageous to people who are gold/plat. I only fly 3-4 times a year, and it's sporadic between airlines, so yet another neat promotion that I'm afraid won't apply to me (though I did get 9547 EQMs from my DEN-HNL trip...but that means I'd need to do that at least 2-3 more times this year lol).

This is what's got everyone in such a flurry of excitement? TWO SWUs? Which you have to fly 120K miles for?? Doesn't UA give a lot more than two (and after only 100K miles)? I think it's the combination of SWUs with unlimited free domestic upgrades at 90% plus frequency that is compelling. I'm not intimately familiar with all the other programs, but my impression is that you usually get one or the other. (Exception is some kind of SWU for Delta as I recall).
