I finally hit a dead end here.

They won't recognize my weekly recurring transfers
from ING as direct deposit.
Has to be payroll or social security, neither of which I have.

So that was a fair bit of work to get to this point,
and not receive the final 10,000 miles.

I told them to close my account.
(After 94 days to avoid closing fee...)

I opened an account January 8th. I made a direct deposit and a debit card purchase before the end of January. I still haven't received the 11,000 miles. After the usual pass the buck routine, I finally found someone at Chase who seemed familiar with the promotion and promised to find the missing miles. If you are having problems, call Chase at 1-877-292-4273.

Anyone try PayPal again, or is that loophole closed this times?

thanks

I got all miles ... made only one "direct deposit" from my Citi account to Chase ...same for Mrs. USAFAN.
Now they charge $6/month .... so we cancelled. Wait 90 days, otherwise Chase charges a $25 fee!

Woohoo!!!!!!! I just checked my CO account and the 10,000 bonus posted. FYI I used paypal and emigrant direct savings account that I set up pretty easily. No transfer over 20.00, so i doubt there is a minimum amount needed to trigger it. I would say that it was the Emigrant account considering so many saying they had no luck with paypal

I noticed that one of the local WaMu branches in Atlanta changed their sign over to Chase about 2 weeks ago. Does anyone know if the systems are integrated to a point where I can open a Chase account in one of the old WaMu branches? I'd like to take advantage of this offer before it expires...

Thanks,
Eric

The signs on WaMu branches here in Southern California has been changed for over a month now. But they are telling me that they cannot honor this offer because they are not fully integrated with Chase system until sometime in October. In the meantime, the offer expires June 30th ... any news on an extension? Or new offers?

Chase bonus miles posting survey

Hello everyone,

It has been almost six months since the promotion began. I thought it would be useful to find out if we are really getting our bonus miles. If you opened an account since 01/01/09, please hit "QUOTE" and fill in your answers (to the extent you have them).

BTW, I opened my account on 05/03/09 with the $25 ATM card with only starter checks, immediately began weekly direct deposits, got 11,000 bonus miles on 05/18/09 and 1,000 bonus miles on 05/26/09, and the $25 ATM card fee was charged on 6/26/09.

Lets hear from your!

1. What date did you open your account?
2. Did you apply for an ATM card?
3. If you applied an ATM card, did you choose the $25 or $65 card?
4. Did you set up a recurring direct deposit?
5. If you set up a recurring deposit, what was the first and second deposit dates?
6. What date did you get the 10,000 account opening bonus?
7. What date did you get the 11,000 first ATM use bonus?
8. If you did not get your bonus and had to contact someone, who did you contact and what was the outcome?

'Mystery" 2,500 miles

Other members have reported getting 2,500 bonus miles (in addition or in place of the ATM bonus). Did you get the "mystery" 2,500 miles? If so, do you know why you got the bonus?
