Best offer of 2005

Just wanted to throw out a question.

What do you think has been the best offer so far in 2005?
This can include an offer, flight you have taken, or a promotion that has been offered this year.

For me being a noob to FT, I would have to say the 25% bonus for transferring Amex points into Continental miles.

I'm interested to see what people have saved on or things I have missed this year so that I can be on the lookout for it in the near future.

Thanks

United Visa 20K with no annual fee

20,000 united miles for the Bank One/Chase United Visa with the annual fee waived for the first year seems like a pretty sweet deal to me.

Here's the link to the offer:

AAL backdating my platinum challenge 6 weeks. Comparable to buying insurance after the casualty and having the casualty covered.

Hyatt's Faster Free nights continues to be the best. A shame my current client location has no Hyatts.

It is clearly Ultraman's refinancing/HELOC. Earning a few 100k miles for a little bit of work and $100 is amazing.

The MP Visa is a pretty good one and easy too. I would suppose there are other great ideas out there that people dont want to post for obivous reasons

Best offer was the GF one in round April - either 700 or 1,000% bonus mileage for flying in First - sadly wasn't time to book after we found the rather low prices, as per the thread in the mileage run. Not been anything similar since, possibly because their loads are rather high?!

United's "Great Offer", earned 24K* EQM's (for most people that would be a status jump) ^

* = got 6K for faxing 3 competitor statements, and 18K for flying more segments than last year.

EQM's are always KING

that was probably the best deal for me, I couldn't get in any of mileage runs myself, so 20k free miles was nice

I think the +-$100 + taxes offer to Europe from NW available for booking on Saturday Sep 3 were pretty good deals. I am going to Europe once in Nov and once in Dec because of it, and will accrue enough miles just from those two trips for a free domestic US ticket.

Daimler-Chrysler Visa Card Plus (Germany) 10 for the first year including 5,555 roadmiles. For the month of September trade 5,000 roadmiles 4 for 1 to get 20,000 Lufthansa miles. Sweet!

hmmm, delta's dash to the gate (10k yeild for an easy & cute online game) takes it for me and my family--(especially since you could transfer miles between DL members for those that may need to do this).

That offer plus the Priority club gig where you got status and also earned about 30k more DL miles was sure good for all of us in our fam!
