Enron executives:
"Wow, that Globalpass is one hell of a poorly run company!"
Anyone want to buy 840,000 worthless Globalpass miles for a song ??
(It doesn't even have to be a GOOD song!!)
I'm just happy I got four free tickets out of them before they managed to lose EVERY U.S. partner airline they had!
Of course, they can TRY to get me to Europe on KLM as long as I am able to fly (there and back) on ANY day in the coming MONTHS that THEY choose.

Today (September 1, 2005) I received a confirmation e-mail advising me that "we have received your inquiry. There is no need to reply to this email. Please note that we are experiencing temporary volume-related delays in responding to customer e-mail."

And I thought three weeks for an email reply was bad when we contacted them last year.
You get the award for the late reply category
Another Points.com record I believe. But they owe you big time IMO
A complaint should be filed with the proper agencies in their city /country
It should absolutely be on record

It is highly obvious that the very best way to handle/deal with all things Points.com is to just plain NOT use them anymore--and to tell everyone you know to do exactly that same thing!
They target the unknowing newbie and they also target the savvy consumer who thinks there's a way to get a certain deal. they already abused the customers they already had, and the only thing they are good for is the fact that their site happens to power the ability to transfer miles between members on DL and NWA.
I am not so sure how far I'd trust that if something should go wrong with any mileage transfer! Example... I need 5k miles in my NWA account, you give them to me, I pay the fee on NWA.com, something goes wrong, my seats cannot be booked, I battle the airline to get my late miles, end up paying anyway, and NWA tells me to take it up with the the third party who handles that sort of request, sir.
Screw that!
So be careful with any miles transfer, and do NOT use Points.com for anything else ever again!
I have blocked their emails because I am somehow unable to go into my own account to shut it off, but have already emptied it and will never go there again.
