Odd, my branch in Vancouver was fully aware of the promotion and checked if I was signed up for it when I picked up the card...

Applied for Gold rewards and got approved. Will wait to see if my wife gets the referral bonus and if I get my bonus.
On a side note, if bonuses are lifetime now, what's the next best way to accumulate points for a Singapore air F award ticket? |

Or they get past the online application phase fine, and then application goes into a black hole...either never received, or received and declined (for whatever their bogus reason of the day is) with no response...

How long will I get the cashback? I applied it through GCR and still havent received either my TD card or the CB.:confused::(
If not, submit a missing rebate with GCR (name, address) and they'll follow up That's what I had to do - Call TD to complete application, submit inquiry with GCR and call TD to fix my Aeroplan #, get my $50 GCR cashback.... took 3 months |

Then those people should call TD CC to finish the application and provide the correct source code (RFD or GCR)
You should see it soon if you applied ONLINE via GCR and got approved If not, submit a missing rebate with GCR (name, address) and they'll follow up That's what I had to do - Call TD to complete application, submit inquiry with GCR and call TD to fix my Aeroplan #, get my $50 GCR cashback.... took 3 months |

The only place on FT would be Coupon Connection, which requires you to have amassed 180 substantive posts to gain access.

I must be lucky - I applied for the TD Aeroplan infinite card on Sunday, was approved instantly, and yesterday received an email from GCR that the cash back went through. The application was buggy though, some of the popups that you have to open and accept took a few tries to work.

So it's back to a 'functional' buggy state that it was at, earlier this year. Time to try again.
I gave it a go and did not have any obvious problems with the legendary, beloved TD application process. Got the AE number in there and everything. However, my application is "under review" with a response I promised in the next couple of days. (I think I got this same answer during my previous attempts which ultimately proved successful) Just one question though, when prompted for your TD customer info, is it better to include your TD Easyweb login info, or apply as a "new customer" even if you already have a TD AVI? |

Are you saying you currently have 2 TD Aeroplan Visa Infinite cards, or just 2 different cards in the TD family? |

With the TD Aeroplan card, how strict are they about income? My partner is a student. TD gave him the TD First Class card, when he opened an account with them, despite low income. Would that mean that he'd qualify for the TD Aeroplan, or did he just get lucky?

and I wouldn't try any VISA INFINITE or MC World Elite if your income is nowhere near 60K. 50-55K, maybe okay, buff it up a bit with "additional unknown income" :) |

Transfer your SPG points to Singapore. And I disagree with the previous poster: SQ F is one of the truly great flight experiences you will ever have, and well worth the points! I've flown it several times. Get the A-380, from Singapore to NA. Give yourself ample time to fully enjoy The Private Room at Changi. Try to book a middle seat and hope that no one is next to you so you can sleep on the only double bed in the sky. Pre-order your Lobster Thermidor, and enjoy one of the most cool, fun experiences of your life! My 2 cents...
Etihad has a double bed. You'll have to fly The Residence on their A380. |

The TD Infinite Visa showed up in my online account along with the annual fee. I hope it's not a pain trying to get the refund as GCR link led to a TD page promising first year free...

So I just got off the phone with Capital One about my Delta Skymiles card. They said existing cardmembers get to keep it and continue earning.
They also said something else I didn't know: They are cancelling the IHG card as well (but letting existing cardmembers keep it), and focusing on Costco. |

You get charged and refunded the annual fee, that's just kind of how the card works, yeah. If you don't get a refund within the first 2,3 statements, then contact TD.
