I sure hope so as I used it twice, once for me and once for Mr. Fink. The offer came to our joint email address and there was no Dear Mr/Mrs. On it so I am not even sure who it was targeted to, him or me. Will let you know if we both get the bonus.

usage of Choice points

I think both now have $4,000 limits which is fine with me since I only use them for booking Choice branded hotels.

I did not see any spending or pay for staying requirements on their new promotion but I still did a purchase and paid for a stay just in case. The 24,000 miles are waiting to be posted later this month.

My wife applied for her second Choice cc and was accepted. She is now waiting to receive the card and use it to get 24,000 points.
What are going to use these points for? Choice Privileges seems to have a very scant selection of GC's.Love an idea!

We used points for a 5 night stay in Denver for our daughters wedding which was free. However, this year we are using our points for hotel stays in Rome, Venice, and Paris. Choice hotels in Europe usually reduce the number of points per night from 25,000 or 20,000 to 8,000 to 10,000 per night in the fall. Check the Euro rate at these hotels and you will know why to save your points.

It makes a wonderful trip affordable.

Very good point on the Best Western Rewards MasterCard, eville. Thank you. I've edited the wiki.

I think the rewards make it worth the churn.

But $2000 is not a small hurdle for some, and a little bit of planning in advance can really help make that spend easier.

So, to get the full 60,000 points ($225 value), you have to:
apply for the card,
wait,
receive the card,
spend $1,000 by July 31 (maybe a few days early to be safe),

and then have spent another $1,000 by August 31.

Great Canadian Rebates has a $60 rebate for the Best Western Card, but their link to Best Western shows the 20,000 points rather than the 60,000. I'm wondering if I should hold off applying for a few days in case GCR updates their link to include the 60,000 offer.

My wife & I both obtained the Alaska Airlines CC about 3 years ago and have used the credit card and the companion ticket for each card yearly. This card comes with an initial bonus of 25,000 miles. We both applied for an additional Alaska Airlines credit card and received the same benefits as the original card with 25,000 miles and companion ticket.

Note: you will be charged the yearly fee for each card you receive and it appears that you need to wait 2 years between obtaining your first Alaska Airlines MC credit card and the second MC card.

Check the Alaska Airlines website for details.

FYI, I received a no fee/no spend required CIBC aerogold visa offer in the mail. It's targeted, but it's worth keeping an eye out for.

Ah, true. The offer I received, however, is for the aerogold regular visa, not the infinite. https://www.cibc.com/cc/en/agoffer/

(https://www.cibc.com/cc/en/agioffer/ is for the infinite offer)

Already mentioned, see below. If your mailed offer has a direct URL (as opposed to generic URL and Offer ID), can you check if the tid is the same or similar?

I'm unable to find this offer, either. Closest I get is this:

American Express Gold Rewards Card
Earn more rewards. By adding Supplementary Cards, you, as the Basic Cardmember, can earn points faster
No annual fee for the first Supplementary Card ($50 value). First year free for each additional Supplementary Card; $50* each annually thereafter.

Can you be more specific about where you find it, yerffej201? Thanks!
