My second set of points showed up on 7/25, exactly one month after the first trades which posted on 6/25.

My first set took just over 4 weeks to post as well. Seems to be working like clockwork for me.

2000 points have posted to my United account either on 7/27 or 7/28.

Made my trade on 6/4.

For me it took between 7-8 weeks

4000 miles post on 7/25... 2000 for an individual investment account, and the other 2000 must be from rolling my 401k into an IRA with sharebuilder. I quit my job awhile back, so I needed to roll it somewhere...

It is when you consider the double dipping, $50 cash bonus plus the 2k UA miles, with the cash bonus posting right away after the trade and the miles 4 to 7 weeks (mine took 5 weeks.)

Not sure how you figure that but to each their own. Most recent points posted 7/25.

I opened a second account after closing my first one and haven't received the bonus yet. My first one was the Delta bonus, second was the United bonus and it hasn't posted. It's probably been about 3-4 weeks.

EDIT: Checked mine after jhchaconas posted and my United miles posted today as well. So rinse/repeat worked for me.

I was able to get 3 from US before it stopped being available but this is my first with UA and the $50. All points have posted along with the $50.

I've done four so far for UA, two sets of two. I set-up three more that will trade tomorrow and that's all I plan to do. I think I'm probably pretty close to the point where they'll stop auto-approving new accounts and I'd like to stay in their good graces for future opportunities.

I thought I met the requirement when I executed a trade 7 weeks ago.

Later today I got another email saying: "Our promotion team said with this particular airline promotion the current expectation is the airline miles will appear in 6-8 weeks, which means we are coming to the back-end of that time frame"
Good things come to those who wait, in this case in the form of 2000 UA miles. Trade executed 6/4, miles posted today.
