In my experience, you can do more than 1 cash bonus overall, but it hasn't let me register the same code for a different account. Example, after I used the $50 code, I couldn't apply it to any of the new accounts I had opened, but I could use different one's. I think *technically* you have to keep the money in the account for awhile after you get the bonus - check the terms for length.
I didn't check myself yet but there was a reply from this thread earlier that I found:
Can anyone clarify whether the amount you deposit to receive the cash bonus must be held in the account for a certain period of time? The terms state as follows for the $200 bonus:
"The $200 bonus is not available for withdrawal for 120 days after it is awarded to your account."
There is no language indicating that you need to keep the $10,000 in the account for any longer than a day. Can anyone confirm?

For those that were as confused as me about how to close an account, You should go to Overview>Forms & Applications>Close accounts.
I had to chat because I couldn't find out how to close accounts and was questioned why I had so many accounts. It was unpleasant. Hope you guys are able to avoid it.

FYI - if you use Sharebuilder in another country (I live in Ecuador), they WILL eventually catch on (took them a few months), and let you know that they are not licensed to do any business outside the USA.... and lock your account from adding funds and buying stocks. You can still sell stocks and withdraw though.
HOWEVER - b/c of that, they will waive the $75 full transfer out fee.
Interesting option if someone is trying to take advantage of another bonus with a broker. I took advantage of some of the bigger cash bonuses and bought soe securities in the account. However, now it will be free to transfer them to another (bigger) broker. Interesting.
They also said when I'm back in the states I can login from a USA IP address and just call and they'll unlock the account when they see I'm logged in from the States. Suppose if I want anymore United miles, that will be the trick. Had no problem signing up for 4 accounts from Ecuador before though. Ha!

Still eligible?
I did this on 9/14 but still don't have the United miles posted. I had an email saying I qualified for the promotion of $50 but still no miles. I see that the link is now dead so do I have a shot? Waiting for mine and those of DH.

I actually had 2,000 United points post this morning out of 10,000 pending. I can't complain. Signed up for 7 accounts over last 3 months and received 2,500 US Airway miles, 6,000 United miles, and $50 which more than covers the $35 I invested.

Same. 2000 miles posted today. Expected another 4000. I think I am sending them an email complaining . If I remember correctly, T & C didn't say you couldn't do this multiple times and get miles each time.
