I've made it now, using my TK Gold..;) I'm curious, before to request it I've changed my address to the local embassy in Wellington, could I become Gold with Qantas then later re-change to my real address in Italy?

Just thought I would post here a link to a post, which Flyertalk user Concerto posted on the Air Berlin Status Match thread - http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/24461939-post9.html

Yes, after weeks and several requests.
But I didn't receive my gold card yet although I already flown (in J) with them and I have 40k miles on my account I remember it should last 1 year.....Am I wrong? Btw which one can match EY status? |
I sent a Status Match form and documentation to American a month ago and never received a reply.
Does a lack of reply mean the application is rejected? Or should I assume they lost email and resubmit? |

I called american airlines asking for status match, they told me they do not match nbut they have fast track, you pay a fee of around 140 USD, they enroll you for a fast track of earning 5000 pints or something like that, they make you gold etc.

Can you please remind me to which email address I have to send my match request to turkish?
Is it correct to do it before June (i.e. when the card still has 6 months of validity) Thanks |

Which card do I have to use (in your opinion) between AB (no flights), A3 (Flights until november but not received the card yet), EY (flights in business in Jan)? |

Not sure if you meant that they no longer match status (my firm was provided a status match form with specific instructions for applying for 2015 status matches and I received an auto generated email from American providing instructions for uploading my UA mileage statement) or if you meant that my application was rejected.
As for corporate matches, which you did not state earlier was your scenario, I don't know. I do know UA has a corporate status match, which I received last year. It appears AA should have one too if your firm has a form. |

Read this on onemileatatime, and got the approval a couple of days ago. VPN and a new zealand mailing service did the trick. ;) Switching from *A to OW (BA or QR, not decided yet) later this summer, so having OW status from the very beginning will be nice.
