Has anyone had success in applying Asante status on other Skyteam airlines? Does it work on the likes of Xiamen or Garuda or even AFKL?

Finnair Gold matched both to Turkish Elite and Asante Gold.
Sign up to Miles & Smiles (unless you already have an account) Send an email to customermiles[at]thy.com requesting a match and include a PDF of your latest account statement and a picture of your card. Have a trip coming up in 3 weeks and was going to match BA Gold to TK Elite. |

How long did the match take, and was it still the process noted here: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/turk...ch-2012-a.html ?

Pretty fast, mine took within 2-3 working days. If you really want to min/max it, can do about 1 week prior.

Was a bit sketchy at check in but walked straight into lounge on both segments FYI NEVER connect in Xiamen internationally. You have to go through immigration and can't go back airside until 2 hrs before flight. It's a nightmare |

3 times back and forth, shown them my app / login page / photo of recent boarding passes with status and no go :( |
Just received a targetted email for a stats match for Flying Blue. However they want me to pay a €199 transaction fee; tiered depending on whether matching to Silver, Gold or Platinum (I am gold).

More info here: https://viewfromthewing.com/air-fran...heres-a-catch/ Air France KLM Flying Blue is offering status matches up to Platinum, the level required to redeem points for first class awards on Air France. They’ll even match United Platinum and American Platinum Pro members to Flying Blue Platinum. There are two caveats.

Thanks for pointing this out. It doesn't seem to be targeted.

It's curious that an offer targeted at UK residents is priced in Euros rather than Pounds.

As is the fact that UK passport doesn't prove residency (driving license does have address on it).

I am eligible for a U.K. passport through my dear, departed Mum, but never applied because since 1975 I have been an on-and-off employee of the U.S. government, which looks askance at dual citizenship by its employees. However, now that I am a Federal Employee Retirement System (FERS) annuitant, the only thing holding me back is finding a U.K. citizen to attest to my good moral character. I do not know any British Subjects here in the CNMI, and "family members" are excluded, which presumably precludes my Australian second cousins. If anyone is familiar with some of my FlyerTalk posts over the past two decades, and is willing to attest to my character, please send me a Direct Message (DM), so we can discuss further by e-mail. |
