That is a little frustrating, as I asked to be matched to Asante Platinum from my BA Gold but got matched to Asante Gold.
Maybe I will try again and see what happens...

Just received a status match from TAP Gold to KQ Platinum. I guess the agent handling my request was feeling generous. It took about 2-3 weeks to process.

For anyone seeking lounge access, Asante Rewards is now listed on the Skyteam website. This should help some with lounge access, though I doubt it will convince agents at contract lounges or outstations.

AA Gold mapped to Asante Gold Elite Plus! Was only expecting Silver Elite :D

This should come in handy for an upcoming trip with several legs on Vietnam Airlines. Only problem is that VN does not recognize my Asante number -- "Frequent flyer program number is invalid" :confused:

Same on AF and KL, since a few weeks I can select Asante as my loyalty program but when I enter my account it says 'invalid'

Matched QR Gold to SQ Elite Elite Gold. Took around a month with all the back and forth and had to show evidence of premium cabin travel on both airlines.

NH Platinum matched to Asante Gold 2 weeks ago. Today I flew Delta from IAD to MEX (through ATL). Delta's system accepted the Asante number but no recognition of the status. The agent told me these extras are only for Delta (!?). So it looks Asante Gold does not have much value for flying DL for now.

In case anyone has a card with a soon to come expiry date, Asante will decline status match if the existing card has existing validity under six months.

Was the TK match a full-blown 2 years validity or a 4 months challenge?
