As the Offer says "the bonus on your first purchase of $50 or more" if it counts as a first purchase than I entitled to get the Bonus miles, no need to return. If I don't get the miles means that purchase does not count, so rebuy becomes the first purchase for the miles purposes?(do I make sense?)

Yes, you definitely make sense. I was thinking that if you got any miles for a purchase during this time, that would be your first purchase. But if you don't get the 36 miles per dollar, I agree, you should still get to make a first purchase in regards to this promo.

Once you 'shoot your load' and buy something the code disappears when you go back.

But if you login with a 'virgin' account, the code will be there.

I wish they sold toilet paper or other consumer staples that I could stock up on!

I was somewhat surprised to find that they had a lot of really good shoe deals. I bought last year's version of my favorite make/model for 35% off retail (and roughly as cheap as I ever get it anywhere). They actually had my size, which is sort of rare, so I bought four pairs.

So now I'm set up for shoes for the 12-18 months...and I should have a nice pile of Avios headed my way.

I couldn't bring myself to buy and high-dollar items. This particular retailer seems very overpriced in most areas.
