Dear Best Western Rewards Member:
For the past year, Best Western International has partnered with Topguest to offer our Best Western Rewards members Topguest's unique and innovative social media integration platform. However, as of June 30, 2012 Best Western International will no longer offer the Topguest services as part of your BWR membership.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We sincerely appreciate and value our members and will continue to explore initiatives in the digital and social space that will bring significant value to you as a member of our loyalty program.
As always, if you have any questions about this or any other Best Western Rewards program initiative, please email us at Best Western Rewards Customer Service.
Sincerely,
Tammy Lucas

1. Buy them for $10 per 1,000
2. Transfer Amex MR or DC points to BW points.
3. Merge an account with someone who has the same address as you, thus combining account balances.

i would guess that the topguest program will slowly die off. I would think that top guest approached these travel companies with the tag line " We have this great new Social Media idea that will allow your loyalty users to check in to you facility for bonus points for just a small marketing fee to top guest" The marking staff heard "Social Media" and "Check in" and "small fee" and said we want that. then after they were in it they reviewed and see it is nothing more than a sham allowing people to check into a stie while not there and spending no money they will not renew their contracts and will chalk it up to a small social media advertising mistake.
That said I have received more than 25k to both hilton and priority club so i hope i am wrong

It gets worse. http://www.wingatehotels.com/deals-d...ffers/topguest We're going to lose another one unless they renew the deal. * Terms and Conditions
Limit 50 bonus points per day. Valid through 7/15/12.
I wish certain people (mostly bloggers but some FTers) would stop bragging about the exploits in public, they are killing this program just like another group killed Club Bing (botters). Does anyone ever stop to think about the ramifications of publishing ways to break the T&C of these programs? If you are going to do it, do it quietly and SHUT UP about it! And while some of the mainstream bloggers didn't write about the biggest exploit themselves, they allowed comments on their posts to stand (should have deleted them) which point to a blog that spoonfeeds the details. For the record, I wasn't using that one myself, I didn't even know about it until I saw it on a blog in the last few days.
Another good deal bites the dust. Don't know how much longer PC have left on their contract.

Topguest - additional points for checkins
Starwood did the Foursquare promotion right last year, at least in theory... Bonus points only apply when you actually have a stay at the hotel.
