Do not call the airlines under any conditions! This is the fastest way to kill the trick and bring unwanted attention to your itinerary! And do not post precious deals in this thread, this is by far the fastest way to kill the trick!

************************************************** ******
This is NOT the right place to ask: "Can you help me with a low fare for AAA-BBB?" This is not the beg-it thread, but the trick-it thread.

This thread deals with unique combinations of routes and booking tricks in order to lower prices on airline fares. Prices that would astound the general public are often achieved by the posters in this thread.

Many people, including airline representatives, monitor this thread. For that reason, it is unorganized, very content heavy, often lacking details, and written in shorthand. It takes patience and effort in order to understand the conversation and be able to participate as an active member.

We encourage you to read the entirety of this thread if you would like to get started and to experiment as soon as you understand the gist of Trick It. Lots of time spent reading, practicing, and learning is the only way to be able to reproduce our tricks and discover new ones yourself. There are many, many people who ask for advice here, so productive members are only able to help those who have shown a concerted effort and progress over a long period of time (months).

If you have no idea what this thread is about, a good place to start are various blogs' posts on the subject. At the very least, read the Rules for posting in this thread. They're also listed in the very first post, below.

Older portions of the thread have been separated into archive thread by year. They are listed below

You just got a bigger penis than other by posting this comments..?
You managed to communicate that you don't get hints and your willingness to offend others with just one little post.

Not the way to get help on here.

If you really don't get the value of the hint, then this is not for you.

Someone can take it as a p***s contest, whereas others can accept a new challenge for improving their search results - €114. I guess this is a matter of departure point, not a language used during the booking process.

I'm new too to this game (not to FT), just find a flight from C2 to BOG with a low BF and high YQ, you can use ST map to find out who flight from BOG.

Just you let you know, I'm still looking for the famous 1x or some 3x that may work with OW, no luck yet but I don't know what is wrong with you... if you don't want to spend more time, just keep checking MR or any blog.

yyz-c3e, oj, departing in the fall...

flights found on ita with BF = $310 and YQ = $240, total $660 USD

not the best candidate fare, but am able to trim some fat and get the total down to $550

doesn't really compare to these $200-300 TATL flights you guys find though, *sigh*

don't be discouraged as this isn't an overnight sensation!! stick with what you know and develop it into reaching the desired outcome, but remember that not every route or combination will yield the same result!!

I'm trying to perform my first fuel dump. I decided to give it a try but like every newbie I will need some pointers. As suggested by many of you I looked at the fare rules under "END-TO-END". Is only the "END-TO-END" section where I get the hints on whether:
1- the flight is dupable
2- which regions/airlines the strike will be with

You will not be able to deduct from 1- whether the flight can be dumped, but you will be able to understand that it might be very difficult
Very similar for 2-: it doesn't tell you where or with whom the strike will be, but it will be a pretty good estimate or where and with whom it won't be

There are other parts of fare rules that matter, but for your first few months, stick to EOE. Otherwise you'll be even more confused than you are already.

PS don't think this is easy or fool-proof logical. It is not. This is an art form.

No special card needed for that price. Much better availability.

€170 with a special card.
