I believe that the site who posted the fare and booked it such as Vayama should eat the money. I do not believe in hoarding fares either. Do you want TLC do have another weekly show?

(1) Please post all discussion pertaining to the canceled AC/SN USA-BRU fare in this thread.

(2) There is a lot of OT discussion on the last pages. Some posts will be deleted or moved.

(3) Please refrain from name calling and insulting other posters. Tempers run high during "mistake" fares, but let's remain civil. You may wish to review your posts and edit inappropriate language.

Thank you!

AA has a $76 base fare filed for BUD-PHL, good for origination into June. Sat night minimum, three month maximum.

I wouldn't book anything in/out of BUD right now on OW. MA finally flipped the bird.

So that means that people will stop travelling to/from BUD?!

No but AA might have difficulties honoring those tickets - not to mention you might not be able to book it without a MA leg which is kind of... pointless after they kick the bucket. A quick chekck shows that both MA and MA codeshares are still in all GDS's. All I'm sayin'...

No, but it is possible that both AA and MA will stop having service to BUD, and you would be stuck with a 'credit' on a bankrupt airline that cannot or will not refund your money.

I am not convinced that fare is undumpable, but the experts can surely correct me when they return from their sabbatical...

I've had several tickets to/from BUD during the last six months or so as AA has planned/started/stopped/replanned their nonstop service from JFK. Typical rebooking for me has been on AA codeshares operated by BA through LHR.
