Looking for advice on where to credit
Grabbed this trip because it actually worked out decently with my travel needs.
My my entire itinerary booked into C.
I have no status on *A and am not looking for status, but rather maximum value for redeemable miles.
Could someone suggest? I am leaning towards Avianca Lifemiles because I think they have reasonable *A awards and it is showing 200% bonus for Ethiopian C.
Thanks a ton, any suggestions are appreciated

So I am really just looking to earn the most valuable currency for redemptions. If I'm correct, I could get 45,320 SAS points or 45,320 Avianca miles. Which is more valuable for award redemptions?
Thanks!

Thanks so much, Raccoon. I actually don't really care about star alliance gold. It's just not something I value.

SAS has low charges for awards on their own metal. A business class return between Scandinavia, the US or Asia costs 100,000 points, one way is 60,000
In my view a real sweet spot on SAS is the fact that CPH-Faroe islands is only 10,000 points return for a €250+ flight. They're not for everyone but it's a cool and unusual place to go!

... CARRIER IMPOSED SERVICE CHARGE - YQ IS NOT
REFUNDABLE.
Since out of the total price of about 27 000 THB it's stated as being this:
Carrier-imposed charges 1. Adult Passenger: 20350 THB

Usually this refers to NON-REF fares to emphasize that the YQ portion of the fare component, in addition to the base fare, remains non-refundable. I have never ever heard of a fully-flexible J fare with a non-refundable YQ.
But who knows... maybe ET got smart with the recent BRU and OSL mistake fares and filed this eccentric J fare as a cash grab??

(Guess I'm not allowed to post link of Facebook video. The one I was trying to include was from UNILAD Adventure's Facebook page "The Dark Truth about Elephant Riding". Perhaps you can Google it)
There are true elephant sanctuaries in SE Asia, but the real ones don't have any bull hooks on the premises or allow elephant riding.
Here's one I went to:
www.phuketelephantsanctuary.org
Congratulations to all those who got in on the deal!

Just beware that if you change flight it will be re-priced to current C fares, yes, it's free to change but it will be re-priced.

I was too late for this offer, but have a few questions for future reference.
Was an extended layover at all possible (i.e. 2-3 days in ADD)?
What dates were available? How far into the future were you able to book?
