BA Avios would be very handy!

Booked DUB-JFK-LAX then LAX-LHR.

45 minute connection in JFK - is that ridiculous/impossible? Please advise.

If the above is ridiculous, should I call the airline to change, or is this a "mistake" fare.

Not ridiculous, since you preclear USA immigration and customs at DUB. You arrive JFK as a domestic flight. 45 minutes domestic to domestic is reasonable at JFK.

Do not call the airline! They're also highly unlikely to let you change it at this point anyway. And if it was truly ridiculous/impossible, they wouldn't have let you book that length of a connection.

if you get preclearance at DUB, 45min at jfk should be fine
otherwise you're looking at clearing customs, picking up luggage and clearing airport security

Ah, good idea. I've got about 15,000 I've been wondering what to do with. I think that will just about do it.

So , I booked on usairways.com, and it says confirmed and ticketed. However, checkmytrip can't pull up the us airways record locator .

It pulls up on usairways.com, but I don't yet have an aa record locator and I can't pick seats.

Everyone else in the same boat so far?

It will probably just take some time for them to sort it all out.

I have found a pretty decent one way feeder flight from JFK-IAD for $73. Nothing too special about that price, but it is only slightly higher than the train and a lot more convenient (for me). Delta and Jetblue had the same price. I have one on a 7 day hold. Surely it will all be sorted out by then. I don't see how they could cancel this though. it seems no different than any other mistake fare. I'm pretty confident we'll fly this with no issues.

How could you hold a ticket by 7 days? (I might know but could you pm me...?)

Since when can people retrieve ticket from checkmytrip.com? They use different reservation systems.

But I am curious, since the deal has gone, is it okay to call US?

My tickets booked through seat24.de shows up on checkmy trip and usairways.
Both show as "confirmed" and "active".

I used United's annoying Farelock. I went ahead and paid $8.99 to hold it. This is the first time i've used it. I almost just went ahead and bought the ticket, but I figured I'd spend the $8.99 just in case.
