For those who are surprised by the deal disappearing so quickly on a sunday morning, keep in mind that in Europe it's afternoon already and the deal got posted on MANY blogs since 1pm (now it's 3:30 here in Italy)

Sundays in Europe are barely a working day even for retailers. And these Sunday deal fares were US and ME carrier fares, right?
That kind of thing has indeed killed some fares, based on what I've been told by people who were working RM for two major airlines and still socialize with their former colleagues.

I tried a second booking 60 seconds after my "succesful" one and the fare was gone already. I don't think there was an human behind the keyboard adding the fuel surcharge to every flight
