(Gone) US airways US ex BCN from 140 EUR

Of course not.... it hit all the European blogs as well.
But I don't like flying in Y anymore and it is a pain to get to most AA departure points, although DUS was also in the mix for NYC. But I'm flying there a number of times this year already :-).

I have a US airways Ticket # with a email showing confirmed.
But none of that matters since you have to have a AA reservation # in order to get your seats and fly. And right now if I go in to aa.com my reservation shows cancelled. I would be willing to bet yours will too! Now the best I can hope for is some type of compensation from US airways but in not going to book a feeder flight to JFK or hotels or anything right now.

Also it's only available for a short window on Sunday morning and I bet not too many people booked this.
BTW, does the EC Regulation 261/2004 apply here? Getting 600 Euro cash would be awesome

DoT is a much better insurance than EC 261/2004 for mistake fares. EC 261/2004 might only help you within 14 days of departure, and I'm not even sure about it.

I can't see my ticket on AA.com, but I do have a conformation email and Ticket number. As I said on the Etihad deal, I dare an airline to cancel, my DoT template is armed and ready to go hehe
Not my first rodeo with mistake fares and the DoT.

Fares like this aren't for the faint of heart . If at all possible, hold off on booking anything for at least a week after a fare like this is no longer available. Usually that is enough time for the dust to settle. This goes for this fare and other fares like it. It's a best practice.
