Jet is a better performer for *A, period.

However, they evidently do not wish to join an alliance...

Agreed. Jet would have been a much nicer addition.

That is a sweet fare! Too bad it's in old config plane, though.

I have looked, but i can't find this fare. What dates were you looking at?

hmm hate the issue in Turkey part.

Tried calling in and the nice lady (who seemingly had no clue) informed me that it was for TK elites only.

now TK germany doesn't have the fare yet, so we are waiting - any advice on where to buy a ticket in turkey?

weren't these fares also around last year?

They won't have it since it carries a sales restriction that it may only be issued in Turkey. If the PNR is being priced by TK Germany, only the (significantly more expensive) D fare will price.

The TK J fare is even more interesting as it could be operated with their 'new' 77W on wetlease from 9W ^

TK have these short term booking window, restricted stay fares regularly. The list of upcoming destinations (with the dates) can usually be found on the Turkey site. They are only bookable by calling TK in Turkey; you can't book them online.

Special offers for February

They used to list the fares next to the destination, unfortunately not anymore. European routes and DXB were usually €333 in business.

Question on the TK fare - if I am traveling by myself can I simply book a LASTNAME/EXTRASEAT -type thing (fake person)? My reading of the fare rules is you must have a companion?

Sorry, should have specified dates: 2/12-2/19 BUT these fares should be good through the 1st quarter of 2009. Weekend is +200 I believe; still pretty good though....^

Presumably John Smith will need to provide a passport number, and I'm guessing TSA or whomever won't appreciate it if I make up a fake one...

Does TK take pp numbers when you book? The only airline that requires them before check in that I know of is SQ.

Oh, and the TSA has no business with your passport number.
