Do the stays have to be at the same property? If so I will get nothing.

I can't imagine they'd have to be at the same property.

What's interesting is that this promo rewards STAYS over NIGHTS, typically contrary to how Marriott does things. This time they really are encouraging people to turn a 9-night stay into nine 1-night stays by hopping from property to property around town. Interesting!

Well, they got me to do it. I cancelled a nine day stay and now I am doing a mattress run. Nights would have been nicer, but who am I to complain about 30,000 free points

Personally i tend to use BB/PP/EE-Vouchers to settle my bills partially. As one usually cannot use those vouchers for 1-nighters Marriott will get more $$$ out of my pocket for those 9 stays. However, there should be quite a few marriott focused biz travellers out there who do nine multiple night stays easily within the promotion period.

I never received the email and couldn't locate it on the website (until I signed-in)

I never received an email, but discoverd signing on at marriottrewards.com (not marriott.com) provided theI'd find the link to it (on the very first screen.).

The one that has the 30,000 point potential could very well be an exclusive offering to Plats. I pulled it up, don't know as to Golds or Silvers.

Is this targeted? I'm Gold and did not get the email. I logged into both Marriott.com and marriottrewards.com with no luck.
