Looking at the Copenhagen Marriott Hotel on 12-17 May.
The only rate available is "Special Event, prepay in full, non-refundable if cancelled more than 1 day after booking, no changes"
For the cheapest "Guest room, 1 King or 2 Double, City view" Marriott rates are:
DKK 2,699.00
DKK 2,599.00
DKK 2,599.00
DKK 2,699.00
DKK 2,699.00
btw I know the Renaissance Malm is nearby and less than half the price, but it is not really an option (yet)
All suggestions appreciated, because as others have commented: LNF is not as easy as it used to be...

I'm looking for a LNF discounted rate for any night(s) this month February 2016 at the Preston Marriott, United Kingdom. We are very flexible on dates so any help would be appreciated.
If I need to actually specify a specific date please let me know.
Thanks
Daniel

It helps to have rate to beat for a certain date versus a anytime in a month post, IMHO

HI all,
I'm looking for a nice Marriott property in in the French Quarter. I've stayed at The Saint before and enjoyed the hotel. I'm taking my wife and it will be her first time in New Orleans. Currently they are running
The Saint
3/3 $229
3/4 $299
3/5 $299
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I tried to LNF the Paris Marriott Charles de Gaulle Airport Hotel for March 20-21. The vest Marriott rate I find is 140 euros. At the time, TripAdvisor was showing just under $100 for the same date and what appeared to be the same room.
First I was denied for "trying to combine 2 reservations," as I had booked two separate reservations on consecutive nights because we were trying to find a flight out that we wanted. (I found the first response to be very confusing and had to ask for clarification just to understand that this was the problem.) But i canceled one night and asked them to review the other and by then TripAdvisor was showing the same rate as everyone else.
I've checked a few other places and found nothing. Anyone have any other ideas?

I'm looking for London St Pancras Renaissance; February 19th - 21st
Currently 219 per night.
I think I've tried the usual suspects and comparison sites, so any other suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I don't know for sure, there was no reference to the rate, just the two reservations in a row. If I want to be suspicious, they may have used that reason to deny me & run to TripAdvisor & told them to knock it off, I've seen accusations of Marriott doing that before. On the other hand, I filed the second request (for the reservation I still have) late at night & it was over 12 hours later that I told them I had canceled the first one, so maybe the rate was taken down for other reasons.

I once filed a claim and was denied as they said it was a prepay rate. They told me to cancel and rebook and file a new claim. As the other sites rate was still lower than the Marriott prepay, I asked if they could please just change my reservation to a prepay and charge me. They did and I was charged for the entire stay at the LNF rate.
You even get that wonderful Marriott service with the LNF team.

1. Help on LNF for Manila Philippines would be appreciated
2. Is it case that LNF will not beat the corporate rate?
(Eg what OTA rate is needed under LNF to beat the corporate fixed rate ?
Have I read correctly, match OTA then give 25% off ? In which case
OTA rate 9000 minus 25% is needed just to match booking. 6750 corp rate)
Tomorrow 11th February are high nightly rates (or 12th)
Marriott site
King guest = 12,000 ++ Php
Exec. = 15,000 ++
Suite = 16,800 ++
Note XXX corp rate (inc b/f) still shows, King Guest = 6750 ++
Exec etc not available on Corporate rates
(But as no Marriott status, just have IHG+HHD, lounge upsell is 4000++ extra,
and exec room is exactly same as standard guest room too so the 4000++ does not also result in a better room here)
NB
Using Marriott as the Intercontinental closed on 1st Jan 2016 (Used to be 5750++ for j/suite with lounge there for me). Three nights here at Marriott in 2016 since but I find Marriott Manila quite pricey
