I was able to register following the link above.

5,000 Marriott Rewards bonus points every third stay, up to 25,000 points.

Very nice!

I got the 2500 points per stay after the 1st stay... Doesn't really help me out that much as I'm booked at a courtyard for the next 2 months straight... wish I could have had one of the better deals.

I wonder how they target... I stayed at Marriotts over 230 nights last year, and have about 45 this year already.

I received the offer of MGS5R - Stay 20 nights, get 30000 points total.

Thanks Marriott! ^ (And BigLar)

SHOCKER...I got hosed again...

I got the whopping 10K for 5 stays...So much for being a Platinum Premier and that meaning anything...Marriott's bonuses have pretty much sucked for the last 18 months - and they consistently give their loyal customers the shaft...I got one of the crummiest bonuses last MegaBonus Promo...

THANKS AGAIN MARRIOTT

Followed the link from pointsofinterest (thank you!). Never could find an on-line form, so I called the number.

1. They said I could get up to 30,000 points for 20 nights (NOT STAYS!!!!!)
2. The bonus screen also says 30,000 points for 20 nights.

I assume that's the deal I got.

Whooooo-Hooooooo!!!

<calm down>

I will call SLC later on to verify, but for now ...

Whooooo-Hoooooo!!

Not to be porky (I got a cheapo bonus last promo, too), but by monitoring FlyerTalk (no, it's not an obsession!!), we all found out that plats could get the full bonus.

The lesson I took away from that experience ... you gots to pay 'tention. :)

20 nights = 30K for me too.

I'm not sure I like the all-or-nothing of 20 stays, but I guess it will work for what they want - I'll cram in my spg stays for the rest of the month and then off to Marriott for a couple months.

Huh?? As I read the thing, you get the points on a per night basis (1500 pts/night for up to 20 nights).

Someone please correct whichever one of us is wrong.

Wow! That would make me really jealous. As soon as the pomotion becomes official, I'll give support a call.

From the Mega Bonus FAQ:

When will the Marriott Rewards bonus points appear in my account?

The Marriott Rewards bonus points will be posted to your account along with the base points earned for that stay.

That strongly suggests you get the points on an on-going basis.

Also, the wording is "..up to 30,000 points", which again suggests you get the points in pieces as you go along.

Same here, and I'm also in the midst of an extended stay thru March. By the end of March, I'll have 25 nights after 3/1, 1 stay, and no bonus points. :(

As a resurfacing Platinum (ie I made Platinum last year, but wasn't the year before, but was the year before that) I clicked on the link provided and received the offer of 15 nights and 20k points. As I could easily make it up to 20 nights I hope I can convince them to give me the extra 10k points... Maybe I'll just show my hotel stay list which alternates between Hilton and Marriott and give them a reason to earn my business.

All I can say is try what we did last year ... call the Platinum CS line and ask them to give you the remaining points for the bonus if you do the nights. A five minute phone call could net you another 10,000 points.

I'd wait until the promo starts and you've done your 15 nights. And please report back how you make out.

I got 2 stays, 5000 bonus points. i.e. MGS5E.

Seems to fit with my travel profile too. Last year I did 8 nights on business and 3 on leisure. Barely made Silver. So, this is supposed to tease just a bit more out of me I guess.
