Property: Renaissance Malmo
Length of stay (repeat stays?): 4 nights/1st stay
Greeting: Thanks for being Elite
Room upgrade: Yes
Suite upgrade: No
Special requests filled: No; always ask for a high floor, quiet room; got neither as I discovered at 6.15am when I was awoken by the bin men outside
Other: Room has an iPod dock/alarm clock, which is useful for charging the iPhone; there is a Nespresso coffee maker; received a free bottle of German sparkling wine (not sure if that is a bonus or not, haven't tried it yet) and a plate of fresh fruit. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful, and appear to be genuinely wanting to assist, rather than going through the motions.

It takes allot for me to post. That means I tried with management and they failed.

This is a terrible property but just be thankful you didn't stay at the Fairfield next door (which actually closed as of a few weeks ago). I needed about 10 rooms for just over 4 weeks there for a project at the beginning of the year. For some reason the CY didn't come up on marriott.com so we thought the Fairfield was the only property in the area. The place was an absolute dump and the staff was, well, strange. One of my employees unknowingly flirted with the sales manager at a restaurant next door while she was off duty. She became, shall we say, a bit enamored with my employee despite the fact he wasn't interested in her. The situation continued to escalate until I finally moved us elsewhere after she repeatedly entered his room during the day to leave "presents" and, even stranger, do his laundry. The manager thought the whole episode was "cute".

And that's just the tip of the iceberg of the weird experiences we had at Fairfield Glenview/TwilightZone. The CY is pretty bad, but at least there aren't any stalkers there.

Platinum - anything higher?

I saw a list of incomming guests and there were 2 people in a group above the Platinum group. I think it was Ultra Platinum, but I didn't get a good look. Is there something above Platinum and how do you get there? Jim

Do a search for Platinum Premier... It's a gift from the MR gods based upon super secret criteria.
