I made that same point to the people complaining that their SNAs weren't extended.

The nights will be split between the two years, even if it's on a single reservation.

Frustrating! A single FNA is much easier to use than 5/10 SNA’s. Here is hoping they see their own extension at some point, beyond Jan ‘22

A lot can happen in 8 months. Asking for them to be extended now is expecting too much IMO. Many SNAs frequently go unused in non-pandemic times (based on what is posted here), but you can always choose more if you cross 50+ nights.

I will always choose the free night at 75 nights, as I find it much easier to get a hotel to upgrade me than to give me a free night.

Yes I’ll not make the same mistake of ordering a second set of SNA’s @ 75N this year! Just the 5 and an FNA.

I agree with what you say above! Albeit maybe already expected, I guess it’s still too early to extend these SNA’s

Sigh...I really want to use my 7 night award but there are no local category 4s that allow me to do a staycation and with the recent surge in cases and the variants, I really am not sure if we will end up making our planned trip to San Diego in October. :-( I guess I will see if any of my mainland relatives want to do a road trip in winter. At least Washington, DC has some decent looking Category 4 hotel options.

My carts were automatically extended to have a very early January 2022 expiration date. They were previously set to expire in August 2021. I’m still not sure how I’m going to use them before the January 2022 expiration date, since I have no plans to stay anywhere for so many weeks as would be required to use these certs to their full value.

How do you have so many certificates (at least 14-28 based on your post?). I just get one a year from my credit card?

Travel packages’ certs — mostly originally issued from before Marriott’s massive category change — account for most of the award nights covered by my certs that got extended.

Any chance the FN Certs (35k, from Bonvoy CC) will be extended beyond Jan 3 2022. Unfortunately, Covid is still a thing

Here is hoping! Less so FNA’s however I’m still struggling to use my Travel Pkgs within the shifting sands of Europe.

Any chance on extending FNA further into 2022? Still no traveling given Delta.
