many thanks
I believe it's $50, which isn't great value by comparison.

Anything you wish you had brought/ exit test

With the limited shops on the island, was there anything you wished you had brought along?

Also, the government websites have conflicting information about testing on departure and split stays. We are leaving in three weeks (yay!!) And we're hoping to get some recent info. Do you have to test out, and if so can you now do a rapid? We are heading to a local island for a split stay.

There's a shop. It's expensive. A $10-15 bottle of suntan lotion was $40-50. The bottom line is to try not to run out of anything.

THe hotel got back to me and it looks like there are no government imposed testing rules. If you are doing a split stay the second hotel may have testing requirements. Waiting to hear back from our second hotel.

Self-Service Laundry

I don't think this has been asked yet, but please correct me:

Are there self-service laundry facilities? And if so, does anyone happen to know what they might cost? Nothing against doing laundry in the room, but I'm definitely not paying resort prices for laundry service!

No. We brought a couple of pods and used the bathtub. The nets on the balcony work great as drying racks. We're classy, I know.

I have seen lots of discussion about the meals plans, but was wondering if some of those who have been could talk a bit about the room service options, quality, pricing, etc.

Sea plane hand luggage + CPAP allowance

Anyone travel with a CPAP, and was it exempt from the 5 kilo hand luggage allotment? And does hand luggage have to be 1 item, or is it just the weight limit that is important?

So excited to be packing, leaving this Saturday!! 7 nights at Le Meridien, then 10 on Dharavandhoo.

May I know what the latest entry requirements are for maldives? I understand that PCR tests are no longer needed, but are there rules for un-vaccinated kids? I spent quite some time and cannot find clear answers from the various websites. Thanks.

Edit to add: Looks like vaccination is also not needed to visit Maldives now. Un-vaccinated kids can visit Maldives without PCR tests, too. https://immigration.gov.mv/travel-ad...-the-maldives/

Adults don't need to be vaccinated either.

I just arrived three days ago, neither the immigration or resort care about it
