I didn’t bother with SNAs as I didn’t want to risk using them at a property that plays games with them. I have few pictures that I’d like to post, including the area at the Revive entrance where the sewage smell comes from. Hopefully Flyertalk will allow me to post pictures soon.

well, had my 7 night SNA approved for Thursday, at least getting that approved. Certainly going in with an open mind (although, I will admit, we would have switched if I had an extra 250k in points)

And what are the community bookies pegging as your odds of actually getting it? :-)

Our experience
After much consideration we decided to proceed with our stay here. Our SNA request was approved at the 5 day mark to a Revive Aqua Suite.
We arrived and were warmly welcomed. A nice welcome drink, friendly staff and quick check-in. One of the front desk agents escorted us to our suite. At first glance it was very nice looking junior suite on the ground floor, but I then noticed there was no jet plunge bath or plunge pool on the terrace. I pointed this out to the agent (indicating we had a confirmed SNA applied for a Revive Aqua Suite), and she mentioned we'd need to go back to the lobby to look into this. We went back to the front desk and she made a call (all Greek...) and then came back with "your room IS an Aqua Suite - not all of them have jet plunge baths or plunge pools". I mentioned that this contradicts what is listed on both the Marriott website and Aegon's own website with regards to the room description. Another phone call was made, and I was told I'd need to wait to speak with a manager. At this point I felt that the front desk staff was now exasperated, which in turn made it seem like I was annoying them. After waiting a while, an assistant manager arrived. He was very apologetic about the situation, but indicated again that the website room descriptions are incorrect and need to be updated. Apparently any of the junior suites with the extra sitting area are "Aqua" suites.
Nonetheless, he further apologized for the confusion(?) and mentioned he wanted to make the situation better by upgrading us to a Revive Infinity Suite (an option we had originally selected at the time of booking - prior to the hotel removing this as a SNA upgrade option). From there on in, despite the extremely frustrating SNA/check-in experience, we actually really enjoyed our stay otherwise. Perhaps we had lowered and/or managed our expectations after reading other reviews. The Infinity suite we received was very nice. The private pool was great, as was the overall outdoor space. The room itself was very comfortable (great bedding, nice shower) and very quiet (both the AC and soundproofing). We thought breakfast was also pretty good.
While there are definitely rough edges and oddities with the property overall (and the ongoing SNA / room category situation is an unacceptable mess!) we still found it to be a nice place to stay steps away from a great beach.

Ideal for those seeking for some extra comfort and space. It features a stylish living area, bold interior design. On the outdoor veranda, there is a built-in day bed and a private mini-spa or power pool.

(I do see they don't list any suites without a pool on their website. They should update their website if this is indeed the case, it's at best false advertising)

For all it's worth, we are going to Mykonos this month. I was thinking about booking this hotel. Then I read this thread and definitely decided to stay elsewhere. Who needs a major hassle on vacation.
