Status not showing when checking in?
I've had a couple of occasions now where my status was not showing when I checked it.
For instance, on 1-2 occasions, they had to look at a "different" screen to figure out my status.
I'm not sure if it's an IT problem or what it could be.

Stayed at two different courtyards on Friday and Saturday. Nothing unusual at the first but the second had me listed as gold instead of platinum. Showed platinum status on the Marriott app and after some internal discussion was grudgingly given a welcome amenity choice.

A known issue, and an incredibly frustrating one. It seems like some properties no longer see status at all, others see Gold and above as Platinum and possibly in other cases individuals are sometimes just miscategorised or unknown. I’ve yet to receive a single category upgrade since the merger.

Did you ask them to look at the different screen when you advised that your status is actually higher than what they saw initially? I'm assuming they didn't try to argue with you regarding your status and knew it might have to do with the program merger hiccups?

I just received an email from the Dolphin inquiring about any special needs for my check in next Monday. The DID have my status as a Platinum correct in the email.

I had this at a Starwood. The first front desk agent wasn't able to see my Ambassador status (earned from the MR side before the August merger) but a front desk supervisor knew where to look. [My accounts are linked but not merged.]

At the start of the trip I have 78 nights on my SPG and 0 nights on my Ritz Carlton Rewards.
That will make me Platinum Premier after merge.
1st stay is at St Regis Singapore on 18/8 right when they have system down.
The FDC recognise me as SPG PLT
2nd stay is at Al Maha. Again recognised as SPG PLT.
The reservation was made under my old SPG number and their system correcty show my new SPG number
3rd stay, Westin Mina Seyahi, as above.
I merge my SPG and RCR account during this stay. And due to my mistake, my RCR account become the main account.
4th and 6th, St Regis San Francisco. Fdc thank me for being Platinum member but I did get SPG PLTP key sleeve.
Folio shows my old SPG number but stays posted without issue few days later
5th The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Booked use Vacations by Marriott using my RCR account number.
Recognised as platinum by FDC
7th, Residence Inn Anaheim, Their welcome list for the day show me as PLT P correctly.
8th US Grant ... greeted as PLT and receive PLTP sleeve
9th W Hollywood as above with no upgrade
Qualified as PLTPA after this stays but take few days for the system to catch up.
10th The Ritz Carlton Ras Al Khaimah Al Hamra, Greeted as PLT and got black Ritz Carlton key sleeve
11th back to St Regis Singapore. Greeted as PLT but receive PLTP sleeve.
(Status updated to PLTPA)
I got the impression FDC just say "Thank you for being Platinum member" to all PLT and PLTP and even PLTPA
And since some hotels transitioning to the new system in these months, I guess some FDC might not get used with new systems code yet.

This lowly gold crossed #25 SPG stays on 8/19 with #26 on 8/23 and #27 on 8/24...and still crickets.

It happened again last night when I checked into a hotel in Seattle last night.
It's annoying from my point of view. I am not a DYKWIA type of person, so I hate having to bring this up at the front desk.

Based on what i am seeing, the Properties' feed must be the same that the web feed is seeing, and the APP feed (while correct) is not available to them. I guess, just pull your account up on your phone before stepping up to the desk,.

By chance, does Web account not show correct status, and the phone APP does?
