Can somebody say something more about the lounge in this hotel?
I read that it is closed over the weekend.
Is it worth checking out when it's open or doesn't it amount to much?

Breakfast daily, Mon-Fri until 9:00 am, Sat and Sun until 10:00 am (I don't remember how early breakfast starts)
Nightly hors d'oeuvre at night from 5:00 pm-7:30 pm
Nightly dessert from 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Elite+1 enforced by attendant at door in the morning and during hors d'oeuvre time.

3) June 2019 stay
This lounge was by far the nicest lounge I've visited in the US.

Desserts - 2 or 3 from about 7:30-9 pm. They were ok.
Honor bar in the evenings.
2 mini fridges held waters, milk, yogurt, Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Mt. Dew, Diet Mt. Dew and milk.

Update to add they no longer give drinks voucher 6/19.
( 1st agent said it was now a welcome gift option but another agent claimed not even available as an option - he said they stopped giving the voucher when they got a third party to run the bar/ restaurant).

Marriott SD Mission Valley has M club which means key access 24/7 and there's a self printing station both inside and outside the lounge.

My wife had the bagel for breakfast... it was a huge bagel toasted with cream cheese Lox, thinly sliced red onions, heirloom tomatoes etc. My wife could not finish the bagel and and pronounced it one of the best that she had ever had.
I had the omelet which was also large stuffed with all sorts of vegetables and ham if I remember correctly. My memory is that whole wheat toast came with the omelet.
So if you ordered an omelet and a bagel (at least last year) you would be getting two fairly substantial breakfasts.

As of 2 months ago Renaissance Pittsburgh is $10 pp voucher over the weekend for Plats/Titaniums so free brekkie is no more. They wont give more than $10 even after I protested to their manager. Cheap property and GM
