I found this thread as I have been on hold for 2 hours trying to fix this. I stayed 6 nights in costa rica in july, packaged to make my life easier. I did not get any extra amex points *we're talking 6x 4k* and im still fighting for my nights. No one can give me a straight answer and i just get pushed around. This also will affect my titanum status for the year.

To me this is misleading and false advertising and could result in a class-action lawsuit. My confirmation email even said "earn bonvoy points" right on it.....

Hi Jenn did you finally get the points and night credits? I have the same situation with Vacation by Marriott on April which has passed 6 months and still have not got the credits. What I got is this email:

Even - sorry you're experiencing the same thing. I did finally get my points on September 4th.

On August 30 (exactly 5 months after the last night of my stay), I contacted [email protected] and they gave the same 6 months response. Then they asked me to reach out to Vacations by Marriott specialist.

I got busy (traveling -- had two separate trips where I stayed at Marriotts) so didn't have a chance to email Vacations by Marriott

However, I guess my messages did go somewhere because on September 4th (5 months and 5 days after my stay) I did get a response [email protected] that confirmed my points were being credited. The points were so much I finally catapulted to Titanium status but it's annoying because for 5 months I didn't get to accrue the extra 25% in Bonvoy points including the stay I was on while getting this email. Well - lesson learned. I'm just glad I finally got my nights.

Hi Jenn,

Thank you for your reply, I finally got my nights and points on Nov 2nd, here is what I did:
On Oct. 30th I sent email to:

Christina Zhou
Specialist, Social Media
Marriott International
[email protected]


I got her respond on Oct. 31st said her team will look into it for me.
and on Nov. 2nd I got the nights and points into my account! Thank you!
I am so grateful for all your help.
