So, if I'm in SAN staying at the 4PTS Little Italy from Friday to Sunday, and Saturday night have dinner at the US Grant, I won't get elite extra points for the USG meal? I'm being all FT and pedantic here, but "a stay in a guest room" doesn't specify which (Bonvoy) "guest room"

So this weekend I'd eaten at a Westin, but not stayed there. I'd tried to get the dining points credit, but neither the waiter nor the Maitre'D were "able" to find the necessary form. I still have both the itemized bill and charge receipt; can those be used to get credit to my Bonvoy account?

Has there been a change to the program?
I'm still seeing the points earning language in the T&C, but when I called to enquire about missing points a Marriott CSR informed me that on-site dining is no longer eligible for points earning?
