Same here. Probably in retaliation for my complaint about not able to display special rates. :):p
I contacted my browser(Yandex)'s support team about it, and they replied: https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...8bc155d57a.png This problem was resolved, at least in my scenerio. |
marriott website bug?
I am noticing Marriott full website (not app, nor mobile version) are not showing price in point even though I selected Use Point / Awards... I would have to go to app to get pricing in points.... is anyone else seeing this?
|
Yes and it has been fixed now.
|
Yes, but if you keep moving and select "price", it offers the price in points. And, oddly enough, offered me a saver option at the STR in Venice. So, maybe it's not working, or maybe it's working out really well (for me).

Got over 50 nights over the weekend. Log in today, confirm 52 nights, go to the membership landing page it says I get to select my 50 night gift, click on that, get told I'm sorry you're not eligible.
Hoping its a timing thing and it will work tomorrow but I'd like to maybe try to use some SNA's in for a trip later this month. |
gawd. so tired of marriott IT. still broken website. cant do anything. but app seems somewhat functional.

Website keeps showing availability at properties for points, but then when you actually click on the 'view rates' button it comes back saying no rooms available.

I see this going on at some hotels/regions for weeks and months now however. Its not just behind by a day or two.

Misleading / incorrect points being shown on Marriott website
Hi all,
Has anyone else noticed the annoying trend of searching for a hotel on the Marriott website, being shown a points rate of "from X points per stay", only to find that when you click in, the rate is actually a cash + points rate. For example: I search the AD Edition and it shows there is a Points Saver rate from 77,600 points per stay. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...bb49d1b9aa.png But when you click in, the cheapest points only rate is actually 97,000 points: https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...ac065038d0.png And the 77,600 points rate is actually a cash and points rate, and not actually even a Points Saver rate at all. The only actual Points Saver rate is 110,400 points. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...a43446f984.png |
Looks like a classic Marriott bait & switch to me

Seeing instances of property showing award night availability in search results, but when clicking on continue to book the hotel, red box comes up:
Unfortunately, there are no redemption rates available for the dates you selected. To book with points, please change your dates or search nearby hotels |
Here is another example of Marriott pulling a bait and switch, but this one is even more infuriating, as the advertised rate is not available at all, not even as a cash plus points rate. I am not sure if this should even count as a "glitch" or if it is being done deliberately.
https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...185a827ecb.png Westin Dubai showing as from 100,000 points for the stay. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...03909b4aeb.png Click in and it is now from 120,800. Absolutely ridiculous and dishonest tactics. |
